As a key holder at Geppetto's, I was able do a wide variety of projects focusing
on the visual merchandising of the store. This included designing windows
and internal displays, creating chalkboards for events, and creating in-store signage
to advertise various products and promotions.
One of my goals as a designer has always been to create an experience for my audience,
and I've found that merchandising is an incredibly accessible way to do so. Being able to think
about a theme and how to represent it, as well as considering how to create interest on multiple levels has always been an exciting challenge, and something I quite enjoy.

In Fall 2021, I worked with the Admin team to develop the layout plan for Yottoy's shop at Saks 5th Avenue Chicago's Holiday Shop. This included creating the floor plan, choosing fixtures, assembling signage, and being onsite to assist with painting and setup.
The primary focus of the space was the center table, where we wanted to highlight products and include holiday theming. Yottoy's focus is to provide soft toy companions to match popular children's books, and this was the key space to showcase those connections. I headed this setup by creating mockups in the New York Studio, which then was translated into the space.
